Privacy Policy

Effective June 5, 2026

American Home Goods LLC (“Believory,” “we,” “us”) operates a service that lets a parent or guardian arrange short, festive phone calls between their child and an AI character. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and your rights. Because our service is directed in part to children under 13, we comply with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Who can sign up

Accounts may only be created by a parent or legal guardian who is 18 or older. Children do not create accounts or provide information to us directly — a parent sets everything up and provides any information about their child.

Information we collect

From the parent (account holder):

  • Mobile phone number (used to sign in via one-time code, and to recognize the caller)
  • Name and email address
  • Payment information for paid subscriptions — processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers
  • Consent records (COPPA consent and optional SMS consent), with timestamps

About the child (provided by the parent):

  • First name only
  • Age or birthday
  • Interests and short context notes the parent chooses to add

We practice data minimization: we do not ask for or store a child’s last name, home address, school, photos, or precise location.

Generated by using the service:

  • Call metadata: date, duration, which character, and a one-way hashed form of the calling phone number
  • A transcript of the call — the call is transcribed in real time to run the conversation and to create a short summary and “memories” that make future calls feel personal. We do not retain the call audio (audio saving is disabled at our voice provider); only the transcript is kept, and only for the period stated below.
  • A short, AI-generated summary of each call and an account “memory” profile

How we use information

  • To connect and operate the phone calls
  • To personalize calls (e.g., the character remembering a child’s interests)
  • To send the sign-in one-time code and, if you opt in, occasional service SMS
  • To process subscription payments
  • To maintain, secure, and improve the service

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use children’s information for behavioral advertising or share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Text messages (SMS)

If you provide your mobile number, we use it to send the sign-in one-time code and, only if you opt in, account and service text messages — for example, a reminder to verify and keep your child’s call before it expires. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for help.

We do not share your mobile phone number or your SMS/text-messaging opt-in (consent) information with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is shared only with the messaging provider that delivers the texts on our behalf (and only to send them), never for that provider’s own marketing.

Service providers (sub-processors)

We share information only with vendors that help us run the service, and only as needed:

How long we keep information

  • Raw call transcripts: automatically deleted 90 days after the call.
  • Call summaries and account memories: kept for the life of your account so calls stay personal, then deleted when you delete your account.
  • Guest (pre-registration) call data: deleted after 30 days if not claimed by creating an account.
  • Account and child profile information: kept until you delete it or close your account.
  • Call audio: we do not retain call audio. Audio saving is disabled at our voice provider (ElevenLabs); the call is processed into a text transcript, and that transcript is deleted within 90 days.

Parental rights

As a parent or guardian you may, at any time:

  • Review the information we hold about your child (visible in your account portal)
  • Delete your account and your child’s information — this permanently removes the profile, call history, summaries, and memories
  • Refuse further collection by deleting the account and discontinuing use

To exercise these rights, use the controls in your account portal or contact us at support@believory.com.

Security

We restrict access to personal information, hash calling numbers in our call logs, transmit data over encrypted connections, and automatically purge raw transcripts on the schedule above.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes — especially to what we collect from children or how we use it — we will notify the parent and, where required, obtain renewed consent.
